What an awesome pub! We were passing through and came across this buzzing place. The staff, service, drinks and food was fantastic. We heard that they had just opened after 2 years closed and now under new ownership.Highlight recommend visiting if you’re in the area or just passing through.

March 23 Update.New management and wonderfully restored building. Meal was brilliant, meals were reasonably quick and well priced. I had the salmon which was very nicely presented and treated great too. Wasn't too fussed with the potato cake but there was plenty to chide from on the plate. Will be back.

Had one of the best dine in experiences. They let me order my dine in meal in advance so we were served at just the time of our reservation. The meals were heaven on earth.

The Commercial Hotel or “The Commie” has been revamped and is looking spiffy! Many rooms to dine in including outside garden area and counter. Lunches are under $15 and a decent sized meal. Food hot and prompt. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit.Advise booking for night meals.New number 9038 7420.
